New Year, New Work
I'm looking forward to March 23 and 24 when the Cambridge Autumn Festival is held. I believe 21 arts orientated people will open their home or studio for viewing during the festival and I must put in a word here - because my home/studio is open all week for you to view the paintings I have at home. I suggest that you phone me on 07 827 5727 before you come.
I had a few commissions to do before Christmas and really enjoyed them. One went off to Australia.
The placemats and coasters sold really well and I have none left as today. But if there is a good level of interest in them I will reorder.
Also you will see here a book I organised a couple of years ago as a gift for my family.
One of the books was on show in The Heritage Gallery for people to be able to view my work and there was demand for people to buy it! The one that was in the Heritage Gallery has now been sold, so I have put couple more in the Gallery for people to see what I am talking about.
I have ordered some more books and so they will be for sale here at my home and at The Heritage Gallery - I have priced them at $95 each
If you would like one tell me and I will order one for you
When Cambridge has the Autumn Festival I will have some extra books and gift cards here (and placemats and coasters if there has been demand to buy them before then), as well of course as a range of small and large paintings.
A few years ago I had some cheese platters/table centre plates made in glass and they were a sell out. I will do this again as a special one off this year, the price will be affordable, each one has one of my paintings on it. I will let you know through the blog and website when they are available.
I am about to start a new work - sunflowers. These have always been my Van Goghian weakness (and my father and daughters grow beautiful sunflowers, and one daughter had sunflowers in her wedding bouquet - kind of a special family thing!)
Cheers Carole
